About GTC
GTC (Generating Transformative Change) is a proven, research-based program that supports people in growing and expanding into transformative leaders.
Whether you are a business professional, an educator, in healthcare, government, the arts or any situation in which you teach, manage, counsel or coach people of any age, your capacity to influence and affect positive, transformative change in your environment is essential. And a key to helping others transform is for you to have developed your own consciousness and skill in facilitating change.
Leading effectively in the complexity of today's world requires a higher level of both inner awareness and interpersonal skills. Today’s leaders no longer act from traditional positions of authority. Situated in a more complex web of change, today's leaders encounter a growing diversity of worldviews, values, assumptions, languages and challenges in an interwoven, globally-informed economy . Learning to navigate these diverse worldviews as they continue to evolve and interact into new forms, takes a special kind of awareness.
GTC will transform your consciousness while helping you gain the skills and vision to act creatively and collaboratively in this new and emerging context. GTC is an experiential learning program designed to support significant deep shifts and transformations in the participants. The program provides the length, breadth, depth, and intimacy needed to support the participants' transformation into a high-functioning, transformative leaders.
GTC is specifically designed to both catalyze and support these significant deep shifts and transformation in your inner and outer life. By developing and building this transformative leadership capacity, you will ready yourself for leading in the emerging world – whether in your own neighborhood or globally. In fact, you need not see yourself as a ‘leader’ to benefit from GTC. In its most simple terms, leadership means being able to bring about an unexpected, better future. If you are committed to consciously participating in bringing about a better future, GTC will help you develop the depth and breadth of your capacity to do so.

The GTC Curriculum incorporates a many-faceted approach to learning, including leading cognitive theory, experiential learning and supported experiments in new ways of being and affecting transformation. The curriculum is designed with awareness of the ‘interior’ dimensions of both individual and collective development (intention, worldview, purpose, vision, values and cultural norms) and on its ‘exterior’ or visible dimensions (behaviors, organizational structures and processes), and how shifts or interventions in these domains must be coherent for change to be both deep and sustainable – or, for transformation to occur.
GTC has received worldwide acclaim from both graduates and leadership professionals for its unique combination of concepts and practices. Our faculty has a combined 80+ years of experience in education, psychology, business, leadership and adult development. Based on research, our graduates leave our program leading, being, embodying and acting on average from one to two later stages of consciousness than when they started. These later stages combine complex perspective taking, state awareness, and altruism, new levels of creativity, greater flexibility and greater authenticity. These new ways of thinking and seeing allow participants to move through their personal and professional lives with fresh eyes and greater ease in re-imagining, redesigning and navigating through the complex systems that are at play in our globalized world while remaining in integrity with what is kind, just and true.
